Just bought a ticket to the members-only session. If I can find a Saturday night ticket, I’ll be at that session too…

Shall I look for the people with watermelon hats?

I shook hands with Nico at the GABF. It was like meeting Burt Reynolds.

I tasted two Russian River beers, Beatification and the Toronado 20th Anniversary. Alas, they may have been infected! Both tasted very funky! Anyone else notice that?

I tried the 20th annv from RR at GABF and it was amazing (strong sour nose and amazingly clean dry finish). I think both are belgian style sour beers. Here is more info on Beatification which is fermented in La Follie barrels from New Belgium (intentionally infected with bret): http://russianriverbrewing.com/pages/beers/beatification.html
