You guys missed another great beer movie. “BASEketball”, brought to you by the director of “Airplane!” and the acting skills of Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Beer is featured throughout the movie. The Los Angeles-based ska band Reel Big Fish play “Beer” in the movie. Heck, even the sports team led by Trey and Matt is named the Milwaukee Beers. As you might expect, it’s quite absurd, but it is hilarious.

And what’s this about no one linking to Beer School through a blog? I’ve done it twice now, the most recent time being my 2007 wrap-up. And you guys were even my number one podcast of the year! http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=24537950&blogID=341903759

Great show, as always. And I’ll see if I can grab a few coasters for you from Hurricane Brewpub in downtown Mobile the next time I’m down there.

    Good Noon!

And I just realized that the blog wasn’t set to “public view”. I just fixed that. Rock.

Ice Cold in Alex - the scene at the end when John Mills, Sylvia Simms et al have a Carlsberg in an Alexandria hotel. I’m not even going to try to describe it, you have to watch it. Might be worth looking on YouTube for the carlsberg ad that used a clip from the film. Sublime.
