I don’t feel Absinthe

It’s been a year since we first sat in front of a mic and started talking about beer. Instead of a big fun party with a band we decided to break out of format so we could drink Absinthe. Absinthe has not been available in the US or A legally since 1912 when it was banned by the FDA. We try Absinthe from the St George Distillery in Alameda located about 3 miles from the Beer School studio. It got poured in traditional ways: French, Chec, Frappé (with ice) and Cowboy.

    arrrrrggh !
I had some Bairnsfather bitter that I was going to send in for the show.
Let me know if you still want me to send.
also hoped that the absinthe show would magically coincide with one of my visits to San Fran.

  1. [...] Most of the time Absinthe isn’t the main part of the drink. In a Bejoue it’s used just like a Vermouth in a Martini. Other times you can drink it prepared using some ritualistic methods. We talk about all this on the show called I don’t feel Absinthe. [...]
