I took a nice bottle of Brooklyn-Schneider Hopfen-Weisse to a party to share with friends. There was much rejoicing. Does that count? Thanks for another awesome show, Professors!

Surprised you had PBR in the mix. Haven’t tried it myself, but isn’t that like a Bud/Miller/Coors? You guys didn’t even seem to like it while you were drinking it!

While I definitely think bringing wheat/hef and Pilsner are sure things for a summer party, and I like to toss a Belgian in there just to mix things up! Usually a trappist or something similar goes over pretty well late in the party.

there are lots of beers that are in cans which was the point we wanted to make. the PBR was something we had in the archive of beers. while we were buying beer I remembered we had it so we didn’t have to commit to a 12 or a 6 of something else. I’m not a fan of PBR as it’s more marketing then flavor.

I was surptised to hear that Radeberger is not in southern CA.
They have a product placement deal on the Charlie Sheen / John Cryer show “Two and a Half Men” As it is the beer they are drinking on the show all the time.

Back to the subject at hand, I have had good luck with Kölsch at parties because of the color in the glass…

Glad to hear you back it makes my commute seem shorter!
