Not Belgium

Belgium beers are sought out because of they’ve been brewed the same way for centuries. But you don’t need to go all the way there to experience these styles of beer. Instead, look to your local brewery for great examples. Many of the breweries in the US (or anywhere else for that matter) see this style as the pinnacle of brewing. So there are lots of beers to try. Â
Beers on the show:
Lost Abbey Judgement Day, Brewery Ommegang Three Philosophers, Allagash Curieux, Russian River Damnation, North Coast Brother Thelonious, Dog Fish Head Midas Touch, Avery Fifteen.
Homework:
Try a local “Belgium Style” beer. Get some random local beers with names like tripple, double, lambic, etc. Then invite your friends over for a tasting.

Yea for the shout out to CKWS TV!!
I totally watched that channel growing up watching the leafs!
So…. where’s the file?
Great show, professors!
I also want to thank you for the video from the BN’s 3rd Anniversary show. I’ll be there for the 4th anniversary, so I can thank you personally. Party on!
In general I like your podcast, but you really need to shorten the length of your podcast. Come on 2+ hours is a bit much even for our beloved beer.
The Beer Brewer
they are what they are. I’m not going to stop the conversation because a clock chimes 60 minutes.

Ra(t)derberger is a German beer not a Germany beer afterall
I’m with Foster! I love that the shows are long! I get tired of just hearing podcasts that have to stick to a certain time limit even if they’re on a roll!
